She firmly believes that “Prevention is the closest thing to the CURE to promote longevity for people and buildings.”

She introduced a new specialty in her field during her Masters in Sustainable Building Sciences, Department of Architecture – Electromagnetic Pollution Design Strategies. She applied her design strategies in a sustainable renovation of 1909 single family dwelling in downtown Toronto, Canada; a model house for research on sustainable renovations.  Her research has been on-going since 2008, developing relationships with the industries lead experts, scientists, electro-sensitive people and advocates who want change in safety limits at the federal and international levels.

Most recent publication:  A pilot neighborhood study towards establishing a benchmark for reducing electromagnetic field levels within single family residential dwellings.

She is the lead industry expert in an innovative design approach that integrates EMF Mitigation, Green Building, Indoor Environmental, and  Holistic Bio-Energetic Balancing that promotes total health and sustainability.

After 10 years of combined experience and research, she developed a unique 2-Step Energy Balancing Design Process that integrates modern scientific strategies and proven ancient techniques for superior healthy indoor/outdoor environments balanced with careful design of green materials with shielded systems and components.

She consults with building and design professionals, real estate developers, government, homeowners and the community to promote healthy buildings and healthy people with innovative design strategies, educational workshops and talks.

She encapsulated this knowledge into a new field called Energy Quality Consulting – the impetus for Architecture Cures.
